Tonic Architecture Adopts Formal Bitcoin Treasury Policy
Bristol & Bradford-on-Avon, 24 April 2026 – Tonic Architecture Ltd, a RIBA Chartered architectural studio based in Bristol and Bradford-on-Avon, today formally announced its Bitcoin Treasury Policy, becoming the world’s first known private architectural practice to hold Bitcoin as a core strategic reserve asset.
Tonic Architecture first began purchasing Bitcoin on 10 June 2020 - two months before Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) announced and executed its landmark Bitcoin treasury strategy in August 2020.
This early conviction is now formalised into a clear treasury policy that commits the practice to allocating a portion of surplus cash and profits into Bitcoin as a long-term store of value, protecting against inflation and strengthening financial resilience.
